Why is your pricing higher than some other tutors?
As a qualified teacher with over 10 years of experience, I offer more than just textbook help. I understand the curriculum, how children learn, and how to adapt sessions in real-time based on their needs. I’ve worked with a wide range of learners including children with SEND and have a proven track record, including a 90% 11+ pass rate.
Do you offer online tutoring?
Currently, my focus is on in-home, in-person sessions to provide the most engaging and hands-on experience possible. This ensures I can tailor each session using physical and digital resources effectively.
What’s your approach for children with SEND?
I’ve worked extensively with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Every session is adapted to meet the child’s individual needs, with a focus on building confidence, structure, and a calm learning environment. You can learn more on the SEND Support page.
Will my child receive homework?
Yes. All students receive personalised homework that reinforces what we’ve covered in the session. In addition, I provide extra downloadable resources on the website for further practice and revision.
How does SATs preparation work?
SATs sessions are structured around past papers, targeted teaching of key skills, and exam strategies. I help students build confidence, understand question formats, and manage their time effectively.
